When deciding on themes for our 60MM wheel it made perfect sense to pair music with art. Graffiti is something that is at the core of skating no matter where you live. From skating over tags at your local skatepark to skating through city streets and alley ways full of murals, graffiti is all around in many forms.
A Train for the packaging was a perfect fit. Something that not only usually ends up being covered in graffiti but something at the heart of most skaters, remembering days of skating to the station to catch a train into the city to spend the day skating with mates and then the long train ride home with skates still on feet.
Growing up in Melbourne I was lucky enough to see Tim Ward skate regularly at our local (Melton Skatepark). To be able to have him collaborate on this wheel with the illusive graffiti graphic and the team names on the back of our packaging is a true honour.
